# When it does not connect

## What your AI might say

When WiseView refuses a lookup it answers with one of these sentences, which your AI usually repeats word for word.

| “There is no WiseView account for this connection. Disconnect it and connect again.” | The connection belongs to an account WiseView no longer has. Disconnect WiseView in your app and connect again. |
| “This WiseView account cannot be used right now. Sign in at wiseview.ai for details.” | Your WiseView account is suspended or closed. Sign in at wiseview.ai to see why. |
| “WiseView MCP is switched off right now. Try again later.” | WiseView MCP is switched off for everyone for now. Nothing is wrong with your account; try again later. |
| “WiseView MCP is turned off for this WiseView account. Contact WiseView support.” | WiseView MCP is turned off for your account in particular. Contact WiseView support. |
| “This needs an active WiseView membership. See wiseview.ai/pricing.” | That lookup is part of a membership. A free account keeps the free plan’s lookups. |
| “Connecting an AI app is not part of this WiseView plan. See wiseview.ai/pricing.” | Your plan does not include connecting an AI app. |

## Your AI did not use WiseView

Each app decides when to make a lookup. Ask about something WiseView holds — a ticker’s Congress trades, its suppliers, your own report — or name WiseView in the question.

## The sign-in page stops you

- **This app isn't recognised** — WiseView only connects to the AI apps it knows. Remove the connection in your AI app and add it again with the address on wiseview.ai/connect.
- **This sign-in can't continue** — The app asked to send you somewhere WiseView doesn't allow. Nothing was shared. Start again from your AI app.
- **The page has expired** — A sign-in waits fifteen minutes. Start again from your AI app.

## ChatGPT has nowhere to add it

ChatGPT Business and Enterprise workspaces can add a custom connector today. For everyone else, WiseView will appear in ChatGPT's app directory.
