# Connect VS Code

> How to connect VS Code to your WiseView account, and who can.

## Who can

Anybody with VS Code and its chat in agent mode.

## Steps

1. Open the Command Palette and run MCP: Add Server.
2. Choose HTTP, paste the address below, and name it wiseview.
3. Start the server from the chat's tools list, sign in to WiseView, and approve.

## After you approve

The connection is listed in [Account › Connected apps](https://wiseview.ai/manage/account/connections), with when it was last used and what it has spent this month. Disconnect it there at any time.
