# The WiseView API

> Read WiseView from your own code — a script, a spreadsheet, a bot — with a key from your account.

## How a call looks

Every call is an HTTPS `GET` to `https://api.wiseview.ai/v1/…`, with your key in the request’s header as `Authorization: Bearer <your key>`. Every answer is JSON.

curl:

```
curl "https://api.wiseview.ai/v1/premarket/board" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $WISEVIEW_API_KEY"
```

Every sample in this book reads the key from an environment variable, `WISEVIEW_API_KEY`, so a script you share never carries it.

### WiseView's research

The pre-market board, its 10:00 confirmation and its graded record, the equity screener and the mean-reversion scanner, Congress, insiders, the value chain and the squawk's log of the day.

- [Pre-market board](https://wiseview.ai/docs/api/premarket-board) — `GET /v1/premarket/board` — This morning's pre-market board: the stocks in play, each with its pre-market move, volume against usual, the catalyst behind it and the board's levels.
- [10:00 confirmation](https://wiseview.ai/docs/api/premarket-confirmation) — `GET /v1/premarket/confirmation` — The board's 10:00 AM Eastern check: which of the morning's names held up after the open — above yesterday's high, above the pre-market high, at the session high, in a long-term uptrend — with each name's levels and the near misses.
- [Board track record](https://wiseview.ai/docs/api/premarket-track-record) — `GET /v1/premarket/track-record` — How the board's past picks finished over the last N trading days: how many there were and how often each list worked.
- [Run a screen](https://wiseview.ai/docs/api/screener-run) — `GET /v1/screener` — Run the equity screener on your own filters: the matching stocks with the columns the view names, at most `limit` of them, and how many matched in all.
- [Run a saved screen](https://wiseview.ai/docs/api/screener-screen) — `GET /v1/screener/screens/{id}` — Run one of the screener's ready-made screens, or one of your saved screens, by its id from the screener filter list: the matching stocks, answered the way a screen of your own filters is.
- [Screener filter list](https://wiseview.ai/docs/api/screener-filters) — `GET /v1/screener/filters` — Everything the equity screener can run: the ready-made screens and your saved screens (each with its id and filters), every filter as a token with its plain label, by family, and the signals.
