The biggest S&P 500 moves
Idexx Laboratories led gainers, surging 21.85% to $671.64 after Benzinga reported the company posted quarterly earnings of $4.01 per share, beating the $3.71 consensus, and raised its 2026 guidance. DoorDash climbed 6.19% to $190.07 the same day Business Insider reported the company launched $12 meal deals across more than 20 cities to compete on value. CRH plc rose 6.36% to $96.59 after StreetInsider reported Stephens analyst Trey Gooms raised his price target on the stock to $110.
On the downside, Lumentum Holdings dropped 18.59% to $684.40 after RTTNews reported Marvell Technology agreed to acquire the company in an all-stock deal valued at an implied enterprise value, meaning the total value of a company including debt, of $115 billion, with Lumentum holders set to receive 4.5 Marvell shares apiece. Marvell itself fell 12.72% to $171.41; TheStreet noted that because the deal uses a fixed exchange ratio, Marvell's own share decline lowers the implied value of the transaction, suggesting investors were not enthusiastic about the terms. Oracle slid 8.85% to $119.10.
