What it costs
What a lookup and a typical question cost, how far your credits go, and what happens when they run out.
Your AI pays for each lookup it makes with credits from your WiseView balance, the same credits HootAI uses. Most lookups cost one credit. Your AI app’s own thinking is between you and that app; WiseView charges only for lookups.
What each lookup costs

Credits are taken only after a lookup answers.
What a question costs
A question costs the lookups your AI makes to answer it. These come from the questions to try.

Your AI decides how many lookups to make, so the same question can cost more if it checks something twice. What each app has spent this month is in Account › Connected apps.
How far your credits go

- HootAI spends the same credits: a question there costs three credits.
- A membership’s and the free plan’s credits refill each month. A trial’s do not.
- Your balance is in Account › Connected apps, and your AI can check it for free at any time.
When they run out
Your AI is told, in words it can pass on, that your credits have run out and when they refill.
- A member
- Buy more in your WiseView account, under Subscription, or wait for the monthly refill.
- On a free trial
- Credits are not sold during a trial. A membership brings the monthly allowance; a trial that took a card becomes one on its own when it ends.
- On the free plan
- They refill next month. For more, a membership brings 500 a month.
