Studio, and a desk that is easier to find your way around
- New
A second look for the terminal: Studio
A calmer design with one large header on each panel, company logos beside tickers and more colour where it tells you something, in a dark and a light version. Pick it, or the original Board look, under Account, Preferences, Appearance, from your avatar menu, or by typing studio in the command bar.
- New
Add a panel from its own list
The + on the left rail, or M, opens a list of every panel by category, each with a line saying what it does, and a search that looks at panels only.
- New
Star a panel from its own title bar
One click on the star beside a panel's controls keeps it on the left rail. On a narrow panel the star is in its More menu.
- NewAL
Alerts has a button on the header
It sits right after HootAI and opens your price alerts, so setting one never means hunting for the panel.
- NewWL
Choose the watchlist that opens first
Star a list beside the list picker and every new Watchlist panel opens on it, instead of on whichever list you made most recently. A panel you switch to another list keeps that list.
- Improved
Studio is where a new desk starts
New accounts, and anyone who has never picked a look, now start on Studio, dark or light to match your device. If you have chosen a look before, nothing changes.
- Improved
Layouts you can see before you open them
Layouts on the desk row shows the starter layouts and your saved ones, each drawn as its panels. Opening one puts it on a new desk and leaves the one you were using alone.
- ImprovedDES
Earnings, Value chain and Congress on the Company Profile
They now sit beside Profile, Financials, Ownership and News instead of behind More. On a narrow panel the last few tuck under More until there is room again.
- Improved
One bell for everything that needs you
Alerts that have fired now show at the top of the bell, above your messages, instead of on a separate counter beside it. Clearing a fired alert clears its message too.
- ImprovedCH
More of the Chart panel is chart
The price and the chart's controls share one line above the plot, style and scale are in one settings menu, and the time axis names the day.
- ImprovedAI
HootAI shows what a question costs before you ask
The send button carries the price of a question, and clicking a suggestion puts it in the box rather than asking straight away, so nothing is spent until you press Enter. Answers list what they looked up, and running out of credits now tells you inside the panel.
- ImprovedAI
HootAI lives in the terminal
The separate full-page HootAI is gone. Its address now opens the terminal with the HootAI panel, where your conversations already are.
- Improved
Your credits open down the side of the window
Pressing your balance anywhere opens the same full-height panel on the right, with your desk still visible beside it.
- BugsSCAN
Market caps in the Equity Screener are right
Market caps on screen and in exports were shown a million times too small, and now show in full. Saving a screen under a name you already use now says so instead of failing.
- BugsWL
A watchlist that cannot load says so plainly
The panel shows a short message with a Try again button instead of a garbled technical one, and no longer swaps your saved list for the quick list when that happens.
- BugsWL
Rename and Delete stay off while the quick list is shown
In a Watchlist panel showing its quick list, both buttons could reach a saved list that was not on screen. They are switched off there now.
- BugsAL
Alerts say plainly when something goes wrong
If your alerts cannot load, or adding, editing, deleting or switching one on or off does not go through, the panel now tells you in plain words, and the on and off switch no longer fails without a word.
- Bugs
Every favourite shows on the rail
The rail used to stop at eight, so a ninth starred panel appeared nowhere. It now scrolls instead.
- Bugs
The pricing page quotes today's credit costs
The pricing and FAQ pages still said a HootAI question was free after that changed. They now show the current cost of a question, a transcript and a report.

Credits in plain sight, a calmer desk
- New
Your AI credits are on the header
The balance sits beside your avatar and turns amber when you are running low. Press it and a panel drops from it — what is left, what each thing costs, when next month's credits arrive, everywhere the last of them went, and how to buy more. Your desk stays where it is behind it.
- NewAI
Asking HootAI now costs credits
Three credits a question, four for an earnings transcript, and thirty-five for a research report, against the 500 included with your membership every month. That covers roughly 160 questions, or a dozen reports with room left to ask. Chat was previously uncharged and reports cost ten.
- NewRES
Report is back on the header
The door to a research report sits beside HootAI again, instead of living only on the R key where nobody could find it.
- NewDES
ESG is a tab you can type
Asking for "AMD esg" opens the Company Profile on its environmental, social and governance ratings.
- Improved
Bigger credit packs, at a better rate
Three top-ups instead of the old ones: 150 credits for $12, 500 for $35, and 1,500 for $95. The middle pack is a second month's allowance, and every pack shows its per-credit rate so you can see which is the better deal.
- Improved
A day of questions is one line in your history
Asking HootAI forty things used to write forty identical lines and bury everything else. A run of questions on the same day now folds into a single line, and anything you can click through to is never folded.
- Improved
The balance keeps up, and says when a purchase lands
The figure now moves as soon as a report or a transcript is charged, instead of holding whatever it was when you signed in. Coming back from buying credits tells you the payment arrived rather than returning you to a silent screen.
- Improved
Running out of credits explains itself
The message now names exactly what was refused and what that thing costs, instead of a general apology, and offers the same top-up controls you get everywhere else.
- Improved
One menu for arranging your desk
Tidy, Fluid, Exposé, Align, centre guides, one panel at a time, layouts, undo and redo now live in a single menu beside your desk's name. The left rail is the launcher, and nothing on the shell is reachable two ways any more.
- Improved
Learn and Manage moved into the account menu
The header keeps the finder, HootAI, Report, the Guide, Help, alerts and notifications. The two doors out of the terminal are in the menu under your avatar, which was already the only place they appeared on a narrow screen.
- Improved
The finder is also how you move between panels
It now lists what is open on this desk and on your other desks first, so it switches panels as well as opening them. W opens it straight onto what is already open.
- Improved
Desk commands you can type
Tidy, Fluid, Exposé, Align, Save layout, Reset, Undo and Redo are all commands in the finder now, each showing the key that does the same thing, so the keyboard is learnable without a manual.
- ImprovedDES
Ten panels became tabs of the Company Profile
Financials, Ratios, Insider, Congress, Filings, Earnings, Dividends, Transcripts, Events and Value Chain are tabs of one company panel rather than ten separate windows. Their old codes still work and open the right tab, and saved desks still open.
- ImprovedWL
A quick list that lives inside the Watchlist
A short list you keep in the window itself, without saving it as a named watchlist. It is what a Quote Monitor window becomes.
- ImprovedPM
The Pre-Market Board is one row of tabs
The board sits under a single row of tabs, with the day's headline figure leading the panel. The Refresh button is gone because it refreshes itself, and the second markets column is gone because the strip along the bottom is the tape.
- Improved
Two looks, Night and Paper
The desk now offers a night version and a paper one, under a single dark, light, or match-my-device switch. The three Terminal tints offered a few days ago are retired — if you were using one, your desk reads as Night until you choose again.
- Improved
Panels stopped repeating their own name
A window no longer prints its title again inside itself, which was costing a line of every panel. The research box says what a report costs on the button itself instead of in a paragraph above the table.
- Improved
Figures read larger than the labels over them
In every table and on every button, the number you came to read is one size up from the word describing it. Previously both sat at the same size and nothing on a dense panel stood out.
- ImprovedEDU
Your first visit builds a desk and opens the Guide
Tell it what you came to do and it arranges a desk for that, with the Guide open beside it. The tour, the pop-up tips and the checklist card are gone, and the changelog no longer opens itself.
- Bugs
Your credit history adds up
A month containing your monthly refill used to accuse itself of missing a record, every month. The refill now reads as what it actually is — your allowance set back to full, not added to whatever was left over.
- BugsDES
Typing a panel the way it is labelled opens it
Asking for "AMD earnings" lands on the Company Profile's Earnings tab, and names of more than one word — "AMD sec filings", "AMD value chain" — work the same way instead of finding nothing.

Courses, and a rebuilt desk
- NewEDU
Learn the markets and the terminal in courses
Beginner, intermediate and advanced courses of short lessons, opened from Learn in the header. Every lesson is worked through on one real company, and the panel the lesson is about opens underneath the text, so the figures being explained are the ones on your screen.
- NewEDU
An exam at the end of a course
Multiple choice, marked the moment you submit, and you can retake it as many times as you like. Passing the exam is what finishes a course that has one.
- NewEDU
A guide that sits beside your desk
One course on using the terminal itself, docked to the right of your panels and opened with the I key. It remembers where you got to, and the steps that ask you to do something are checked against your own desk rather than taken on trust.
- New
Themes for the desk, light and dark
Two families to choose from. Board is the desk redesigned, with its own typefaces and nothing set smaller than eleven pixels, in a night and a paper version. Terminal is the classic desk in three tints. Pick dark, light, or match your device, under Account, Preferences, Appearance, where every theme shows a preview. From the desk itself, the account menu and the command line switch it on the spot.
- New
One set of window controls for every look
Every panel now says how fresh its data is in words beside the title, and the coloured dots that closed, shrank and expanded a window are plain controls that appear when you point at the panel. Nothing on any desk is set smaller than eleven pixels.
- New
Focus view on a small screen
On a phone, or in any window too small to hold a whole arrangement, the desk shows one panel at a time with a named switcher above it. A phone session never rearranges your desktop, and you can switch the view on anywhere from the Panels menu.
- NewRAT
Any figure can explain itself
Turn Explain on and every catalogued label carries a dotted underline. Press one and a panel opens inside the same window with a plain definition, the formula written out in words, the live numbers behind that row, and the wrong conclusion the figure tends to invite. On the valuation ratios and the pre-market board.
- New
A guided way to start a trial
Starting a trial is now three short steps of its own — who you are, how you would like to be billed, then checkout — instead of a dialog stacked on top of a marketing page.
- Improved
One finder for everything
Command-K and Add panel now open the same list on the right of the desk, and every result says what it will do before you press Enter: open it, focus the one already there, restore it, show a tab, open another, or go to a different desk. A Start here list names six panels to begin with, four questions lead straight to the panel that answers them, and the star that keeps a panel in your favourites lives in the same place.
- Improved
Four starter desks on your first run
Read the board joins Watch the open, Research one company and Follow the money. Each card is drawn from the panels its desk really opens and is paired with the course that teaches it. If you already have five desks, a new one asks before replacing an old one, and undo brings it back.
- Improved
A five-stop tour instead of nineteen
The tour now covers the finder, a panel, the lanes and where the rest lives. Everything mechanical moved to Help, Getting started — eleven short entries in the order you actually meet them, with a filter box above the keystroke and command tables.
- Improved
Starter desks fit a laptop screen
Every preset is now drawn for a window about as wide as a laptop and grows from there, so opening one on a thirteen or fourteen inch screen no longer stacks panels on top of each other.
- Improved
Desk tabs show their full names
They used to shrink to a single letter, so two desks starting with the same letter could not be told apart. The names now sit on their own row under the header, and on a short window the row folds back into it.
- Improved
The keyboard works like an ordinary web page
Tab now moves through the controls on the desk instead of jumping between windows and skipping everything inside them. Every panel is a named group a screen reader announces, rows you can click take Enter and Space, and W opens a named list of every panel on this desk and the others.
- Improved
A very narrow panel keeps every command
Below a certain width the title bar shows the ticker and a More menu holding lane, alert, pin, maximize and minimize, so a panel squeezed to its smallest size loses nothing.
- Improved
A panel title bar that reads as a status line
Under the Board look the bar carries the lane dot, the panel name, the ticker and a plain word for the data — Live, Updates every ten seconds, Delayed, As filed, Refreshes, a report’s Generated, or the board’s Published — with the window controls appearing when you point at the panel or focus it. The same plain words replaced the old code word everywhere else, including the tooltip that used to call a ten-second refresh live.
- ImprovedCH
The chart leads with its price
The price sits above the plot as one large figure with today’s move beside it, and the title bar no longer repeats it. The number is on screen once, and it flashes when it moves.
- ImprovedDES
The Company Profile fits on one line
Four tabs — Profile, Financials, Ownership, News — and a More menu, instead of thirteen tabs wrapping over three rows. The price shows as the large figure underneath, and keys one to four pick the tabs while five opens More.
- ImprovedRES
A trade plan leads with the trade
The direction and ticker first, the risk-to-reward as one large figure, then the three levels as plain numbers with how far each one sits from the current price beneath them, flashing as the price moves. The payoff sentence is out in the open and everything else folds into single rows. Day, Swing and Options now sit beside the Report and Trade Plan tabs.
- ImprovedRES
A report keeps its verdict in view
Bias, conviction, risk-to-reward, volatility, and the price and date it was written at stay pinned above the text while you scroll. A wide window grows a section list down the left, a wider one adds that section’s figures on the right, and momentum and analyst targets now read as plain rows. Long-form text is capped at a comfortable line length instead of running the full width of a maximised window.
- ImprovedAI
HootAI shows what it is working from
One line above the composer names what it is reading from your desk, any text you highlighted, any reports you attached, and what it is doing while it answers. The counter reads plainly as how many messages you have left today, and two of the opening suggestions now move the desk for you.
- ImprovedVC
The value chain zooms and takes the keyboard
Zoom in, zoom out and fit buttons sit on the web itself, and it works without a mouse: arrows pan, plus and minus zoom, and zero fits the whole thing back on screen.
- ImprovedCG
Congress filings say when a trade was disclosed late
A Late tag marks anything disclosed after the forty-five day window, a plus sign marks a total that is missing a readable amount, and a muted date shows where the filing date had to be assumed rather than read.
- ImprovedNR
A way through when a publisher refuses to be embedded
The reader now offers Open at the publisher and Read the analysis instead, above the article, for the publications that will not display inside another page.
- ImprovedTRD
The trades blotter remembers what you were looking at
It keeps the filter you set between visits, and when there is nothing to show it offers to open Research rather than leaving you with an empty table.
- ImprovedAL
Alerts say exactly what is wrong
An error now names the one field that needs fixing instead of rejecting the whole form, and a new alert warns you when it would fire the instant you save it because the price is already past the level.
- ImprovedCALC
The calculator says why its figures went blank
A stop set equal to the entry, or a negative value, now gets a plain sentence explaining it instead of a row of dashes you have to work out for yourself.
- ImprovedGLOSS
The glossary fits a small panel
A compact search field, definitions clamped to three lines with a More link, and the same empty state the rest of the desk uses.
- Improved
Every empty panel offers a way out of it
The nothing-here messages across the desk are now one shared design, and wherever the text names a next step there is a button that takes it.
- Improved
The faintest text on the desk is readable again
The dimmest labels, dashes and estimates now meet a contrast floor, and a lone analyst estimate reads in italic rather than in a fainter grey you had to hunt for.
- ImprovedEDU
The lesson player is a slim bar that follows you
It used to be a large panel that pushed the worked example below the fold. It is now one line that stays within reach as you scroll through the lesson.
- ImprovedEDU
The outline names every step of the lesson
The steps were unlabelled dots you could not click, so the only way back to an earlier one was pressing Back over and over. Each step now carries its own name and is a link.
- ImprovedEDU
The guide floats over a narrow desk instead of squeezing it
It takes a column of its own only where the desk still has room for a whole arrangement, and floats above the panels where it does not.
- ImprovedACCT
Claiming a trial invitation is one screen
It opens with your name and phone already filled in and still editable, the address it was sent to is fixed so nobody else can claim it, and it no longer promises two follow-up questions that were never actually asked.
- Improved
A rebuilt homepage
It follows one stock through a whole trading day on a working desk, showing the pre-market board, the news read aloud, congressional filings, alerts and the courses as live exhibits rather than describing them.
- Improved
A rebuilt pricing page
The two billing intervals and the team option sit on one line with the annual price first, what a membership includes is a single list because there is no second plan, and the ten questions people ask before subscribing are all answered on the page.
- Improved
A rebuilt index of every panel
Every panel in the terminal now reads as one table grouped by service, with its code, what it holds and a link to its documentation. The panels that are specified but not built yet are listed underneath rather than hidden.
- BugsAI
HootAI answers no longer get stuck after a lookup
A long answer that took a while to write could leave the panel saying it was still working indefinitely. The reply now arrives on its own instead of only after a refresh.
- BugsAI
Starting a new chat mid-answer actually starts one
Pressing New while a reply was still coming left the old answer running, kept the composer locked, and then dropped you back into the previous conversation when it finished.
- BugsPM
The morning board runs its full catalyst research again
A rehearsal build firing at the same minute had been quietly shrinking the board’s research budget to a quarter of its setting, so fewer names could be confirmed for the top tier. Each build now has a budget of its own.
- BugsPM
Thinly traded names are no longer misread as extreme volume
A stock that normally trades a handful of shares before the open made any trade at all look like hundreds of times normal, which both inflated its score and could bar it from the board as exhausted. Those names now score on dollar volume instead.
- Bugs
A panel is never remembered smaller than it is drawn
The desk used to store a size a panel could not actually shrink to, so Tidy, snapping and Fill all worked from the wrong rectangle. The stored size now matches the painted one, and any overlap that creates is moved clear when a desk is loaded.
- Bugs
More live numbers flash when they move
The price in a title bar, an alert’s live price and its distance from the level, and the calculator’s tracked entry now flash green or red as they change, like every other live number on the desk.
- Bugs
A tab code keeps its tab under a lane or a pin
Typing a ticker, a tab and a lane together now opens that panel on that lane on the tab you asked for, where it used to land on the default one. Thirteen tab codes were affected.
- BugsFA
The financials chart no longer shrinks under its caption
In a short panel the chart collapsed to a sliver beneath its own caption instead of using the room it had.
- BugsERN
A quarter nobody forecast is told apart from a zero forecast
A quarter with a consensus of zero now shows as a real print with a mark and an explanation, instead of looking like a quarter no analyst had covered.
- BugsCAL
A release with no set time reads All day
An economic release that does not publish a time of day used to show as midnight, which read as a real scheduled hour rather than an unknown one.
- BugsEDU
Opening the first step of a lesson takes you to the first step
It quietly resumed you at the first step you had not finished instead, which was rarely the one you had just clicked on.
- BugsACCT
The trial countdown shows for an individual trial
It only ever appeared for company trials, so anyone on an individual one had nothing on screen telling them their access was on a clock.
- Bugs
A way into the terminal from the menu on a phone
A signed-in member opening the site menu on a phone had no way through to the app from the header at all, because the link it offered pointed at the marketing page instead.

More room for HootAI, and the value chain
- NewVC
See the companies around a company
Type a ticker and see its suppliers, customers, partners, competitors and merger counterparties, each relationship citing the SEC filing or earnings call that asserts it and linked to the document itself. “Disclosed” marks what a company said in its own filings; “inferred” was read from the counterparty. Click any name to walk the chain to it, and HootAI can read the same map.
- NewPM
A bell when a morning pick breaks its level
Every card on the Pre-Market Board already prints the level where its setup historically weakens. If that level breaks after the open you now get a notification within seconds, naming the stock, its lane, the level and the exact time it went. The morning board itself stays exactly as published — the warning arrives as a message, not a rewrite. One ring per pick per day.
- NewAI
Open HootAI in its own window
Drag it to a second screen, maximize it, or snap it beside something else — ⌘⇧O opens whichever panel you are focused on. It keeps the conversation you were on, the desk gets that space back, and a chip at the bottom left brings it home. The floating window is a full HootAI: it splits, takes files dropped onto it, and its list can be resized.
- NewAI
Two HootAI conversations side by side
Ask about one thing on the left while a longer answer finishes on the right, each pane with its own composer. Press ⌘\, use the split button, or drag a conversation from the list into the chat. They share one list, so a rename or a delete in either shows up in both, and the divider you drag between them is remembered.
- NewAI
Drag a conversation out to open it anywhere
Pull a conversation clean out of the panel and it opens as a new HootAI right where you dropped it — a new panel on the desk, or a second floating window if you were already working in one. While you drag, a small card follows the pointer saying exactly what letting go will do, the target lights up, and Escape drops it.
- NewACCT
Choose where you land when you sign in
If you run an organization as well as trade, signing in now asks whether you want the terminal or your organization instead of always assuming the terminal. A Manage button in the terminal header switches between the two at any time.
- NewACCT
Starting a trial from an invitation is a few short steps
Who you are, then your company and rough team size, then a few optional questions you can skip — instead of one long form. The terminal opens the moment you finish the first screen.
- ImprovedERN
The Earnings grid says which quarters have actually happened
Forecast quarters sit on a tinted background with a dashed line where reporting stops and estimates begin, and a column that is entirely forecast is labelled as one. A green number two years out no longer reads like something a company reported.
- ImprovedERN
Earnings growth is two choices instead of three
Pick Values or Growth first, then what to compare against — the same quarter a year ago, or the quarter before. Each row names its own comparison, so the Annual row says “vs prior year” rather than appearing to ignore you: a year has no previous quarter to measure against.
- ImprovedERN
Hover a growth percentage to see the figures behind it
You get the two figures, the change in dollars, and which periods are being compared. Cells that cannot be compared explain why instead of showing a bare dash.
- ImprovedERN
Colour means one thing per screen in Earnings
Green is a beat when you are reading reported figures and growth when you are reading growth, and the legend changes with it. The valuation multiples underneath are no longer green for no reason.
- ImprovedDES
The company Snapshot spells its labels out
Trailing P/E, Enterprise value to sales, Forward dividend yield — written in full, and every one carries a hover explanation in plain English.
- ImprovedDES
An out-of-hours price says so
The company panel’s price line now shows a pre-market or after-hours tag with the regular close beside it, so it is never mistaken for the day’s. Its dollar change carries a sign.
- ImprovedAI
The HootAI conversation list is usable
Search it, drag it wider or narrower, and find threads under Today, Yesterday and Previous 7 days. Single-line rows with dates fit about three times as many without scrolling, the whole list works by keyboard, and you can rename a conversation by clicking its name in the header. It also remembers the conversation you were reading — switching workspace tabs used to quietly abandon it.
- ImprovedAI
HootAI no longer thinks out loud
It used to leave in a sentence it was about to contradict, like saying a search found nothing and then answering the question two lines later. Ask who someone is and it looks them up itself instead of offering to, it reads names the way people write them rather than the way a filing does, and it keeps an answer short when you ask for one.
- ImprovedAI
Yes and No under a follow-up offer
When HootAI ends an answer by offering to dig further, you get buttons instead of having to type a reply. Saying no sends nothing and costs nothing.
- ImprovedAI
A failed answer comes with a Retry button
A HootAI answer that fails now offers Retry and Dismiss, instead of a sentence telling you what you could do about it. When your daily allowance runs out the message box locks with a line saying why, rather than letting you type something that would only bounce — and you can see how many messages you have left before you get there.
- ImprovedRES
Downloaded PDFs look like WiseView documents
A dark green cover page carrying the wordmark, the same serif-over-sans typography as the rest of the product, and tables whose signed figures read green or red by direction with numeric columns aligned right. Research reports and HootAI exports both.
- ImprovedACCT
A free trial asks how you want to be billed
Monthly or annually, with annual chosen for you, before it sends you to checkout. Every button outside the pricing page used to pick the annual plan silently, so people reached payment without having been shown a price.
- BugsDES
Market cap and trailing P/E follow the price
They were frozen at the moment you opened the company panel while the price ticked beside them. They move now, along with the dividend yields, forward P/E, price-target upside and the chart’s day change — all of which flash green or red as they go.
- BugsANR
An upgrade and a downgrade looked identical
The Analyst Ratings list drew both the same way. They are now coloured by direction.
- BugsERN
Forecasts were shown in the currency a company reports in
For a company that reports in yuan or euros, estimates sat next to figures in dollars — making next year’s earnings look about seven times too big, growth read in the hundreds of percent, and forward P/E come out near 2x on a company trading at eighteen times earnings. Forecasts are now restated into the currency the share trades in, with a line saying so and which rate was used. Where no rate can be found the figures are labelled and the comparison is withheld rather than guessed.
- BugsDES
Enterprise value carried the wrong currency symbol
Companies reporting in another currency were shown with a dollar sign on the company panel, making them look several times larger than they are.
- BugsERN
The next earnings date could name the wrong quarter
On the day a company reported, the Earnings tab could describe the quarter just announced as being eighty days away, attached to a date that was really the next print. The date and the quarter it refers to now come from one place and cannot drift apart.
- BugsPM
“Open High %” could show a negative number
On the Pre-Market Board it read as though a stock’s best moment since the bell was below where it opened, which cannot happen — the opening auction price does not appear in the minute-by-minute data the figure is built from. The day’s high and low now always contain the opening price.
- BugsAI
HootAI could crash the page as an answer finished
The message list briefly dropped a message the chat was still drawing.

Organizations, and an account with its own address
- NewACCT
More than one owner for your organization
Two people can run an organization together, each with full authority. Naming a second owner used to quietly strip the first one of theirs.
- NewACCT
Let someone help you run your organization
An owner can tick which of seven things a member may do, from inviting people to paying invoices. Appointing other owners stays with owners alone.
- NewACCT
Run more than one organization
One person can now hold several organizations with us and switch between them from the sidebar. Their seat stays with the organization they actually work in.
- NewACCT
See everything your organization’s access includes
If your access comes through your employer, that page now lists what the access covers and what is still yours to manage — your alerts, watchlists, saved layouts and research credits.
- NewINS
A separate alert when an insider buys on the open market
An open-market purchase now arrives named and on its own, rather than as one row inside a digest of sales you were likely to scroll past.
- ImprovedACCT
Account settings are real pages
Profile, Alerts, Preferences, Subscription and Security each have their own address you can bookmark, with a sidebar that stays put wherever you go.
- ImprovedACCT
Your chosen look follows you everywhere
Editorial, Classic or Blueprint, and your text size, now apply to your organization and account pages as well as the terminal.
- ImprovedACCT
Your organization’s billing page answers four questions at a glance
What is due and by when, how many seats you have and how many are in use, when it renews, and what you have already paid — with the breakdown of any invoice and its receipt.
- ImprovedACCT
An invitation to a Google account asks for Google
If your account was created with Google, the invitation now offers the Google button and no password box. There was never a password on that account to type.
- ImprovedACCT
Accepting an owner invitation opens your organization
You land on the console for the thing you were just invited to run, rather than being dropped into the terminal.
- ImprovedACCT
Your WiseView contact is a person you can reach
Their real name and phone number now show on your organization’s page and in the invitation email, instead of a name on its own.
- ImprovedACCT
Your subscription page says what you pay and what you get
The price, whether you are billed monthly or annually, and the full list of what the membership includes, grouped so you can actually read it.
- ImprovedACCT
People, invitations and invoices are proper tables
One menu per row, instead of a line of buttons that wrapped onto the next line as soon as the window narrowed.
- ImprovedACCT
Invitations are described in your words
Someone is waiting or has joined, and an invitation you called off reads cancelled rather than revoked beside their name. The ones nobody has answered sort to the top.
- ImprovedACCT
Your organization’s page names two people, not one
Who to ask about billing and seats, and who to ask for help with WiseView, with a phone number you can tap. Product questions used to land on whoever handles the invoices.
- ImprovedACCT
Your seat says when it started
Not just that it is active — the date your access began now shows alongside it.
- ImprovedPM
Both board tabs are named by day
Friday’s board and Friday’s results, so the second tab always shows the last completed session instead of landing a day too far back.
- ImprovedTRD
Live prices in Trades flash as they move
The price, profit and loss, R and open profit now blink green when they rise and red when they fall, so you can see which number just changed.
- Improved
The docs pages have a map down the side
Every module page now lists its own headings on the right, marking the one you are reading and letting you jump straight to any other.
- BugsPM
The board says when the market is closed
On a weekend or a holiday it now names the last session, instead of promising a board that was never coming.
- BugsACCT
An invitation to an address that already has an account asks you to sign in
It used to show a full signup form, refuse it after you had filled the whole thing in, and leave you with no way to sign in from that page.
- BugsACCT
An invitation to an account that already belongs elsewhere says so
It used to claim the link was invalid and send you to ask for a replacement that could never have worked.
- BugsACCT
A Review and Pay link opens the right organization
The link in an invoice email now opens the billing page of the organization that invoice is for, rather than whichever one you last had open.
- BugsACCT
Your organization’s website and support number save
The fields were there and the members’ page showed them, but nothing you typed was ever written down.
- BugsACCT
The reason box accepts more than one character
Pausing or removing someone, and cancelling an invitation, now let you type the whole reason. Cancelling was impossible before, because that one requires a reason.
- BugsACCT
Failed invitations are reported as failures
A batch where every single address failed used to report success in green.
- BugsACCT
Your seat count says the same thing on every page
The overview and the billing page could show different numbers under the same word, because one meant seats in use and the other meant seats billed.
- BugsACCT
Each account settings page has its own heading
So you can tell which of the five you are looking at without checking the sidebar.
- BugsACCT
The unsaved changes warning stops blocking the page you are on
It no longer interrupts you when you are heading back to the very page your unsaved edits are on.
- BugsACCT
The membership page stops asking a current member about starting
Anyone already on a membership or a company seat is no longer asked whether they have questions before they start. Someone on a seat is pointed at their own organization’s page, where the people who can help are named.
- BugsACCT
A company seat no longer shows a leftover renewal date
The membership page could show a date left over from a personal subscription you had already cancelled, directly under a line saying your employer provides your access.
- BugsINS
Insider filings say what they actually are
An award, an option exercise or shares withheld for tax are now labelled as such, instead of being left out of the alert entirely.
- BugsINS
A routine stock grant is not shown as a purchase
Only a real open-market buy gets the green Bought badge now.

Alerts get their own lane
- NewTRD
Email receipts for what you do to a trade
Accepting a plan, opening it at the market, selling part of a position, or closing or cancelling one now each send you a confirmation, alongside the fill, target and stop emails that already existed.
- NewTRD
What a trade stands to make, not just what it risks
Opening a trade now shows what each target pays, what the whole ladder pays if it all hits, and the reward-to-risk against the stop.
- NewTRD
The meter follows your trades
Opening a trade in the blotter now shows the same stop-to-target meter as the research tab, with a white line marking where you got in and, on a closed trade, where it went out.
- NewRES
The trade you took, drawn under the plan
Accepting a plan adds a second meter beneath the plan’s own, showing the stop and targets your position is really running against, where you got in, and which targets it has reached.
- NewAL
Switch trade alerts off on their own
Trades now have their own in-app, browser and email switches, so you can silence fills and stops without silencing price alerts or turning off every WiseView email.
- NewNOTIF
One switch silences the bell
"All notifications" now has an in-app master alongside browser and email, where it used to show a dash and do nothing. Turning it off empties the bell of alerts; account and billing notices still appear there, since nothing else can show them.
- NewAL
Alerts and notifications are two separate things
The top bar now counts only alerts: the price levels you set and your trades reaching a stop or target. Everything noticed on your behalf, like watchlist news, daily digests and finished reports, stays in the bell.
- NewHELP
See which release you’re reading
A list of every past release sits beside the changelog, in the terminal’s Help tab as well as on the public page, marking which one is on screen as you scroll and letting you jump straight to any other.
- New
The docs site shows you where you are
The page you’re reading is now highlighted in the sidebar, instead of every page looking the same as you click through.
- ImprovedRES
The accept window shows the live price
Accepting a plan now shows the ticker’s live price at the top, so "take it now" names the price you would actually pay, and says why that option is withheld when it is.
- Improved
One Tidy instead of two
Tidy is now Shift+T and always the same thing: re-grid the desk and spread it to the edges, leaving pinned windows alone. The gentler straighten-in-place on plain T is gone, so the key you press is no longer a guess at which arrangement you’ll get.
- ImprovedAL
Alert settings are organised by subject
Account → Alerts now groups everything about your trades under Trading and everything about watched symbols under Watchlist, instead of one grid of unrelated switches.
- ImprovedHELP
The changelog calls a bug fix a bug fix
Entries that fix something broken are now labelled "Bugs" instead of "Fixed," on the docs site and inside the terminal.
- ImprovedCG
One row per filing, not per trade
A member who discloses ninety trades at once is now a single row saying what the whole filing did — how many bought, how many sold, the total size, and the dates it covers. Click it to open every trade inside.
- ImprovedRES
One meter when you took the plan as written
Accepting a plan unchanged used to draw a second, identical meter beneath the first. The plan’s own meter now carries the white line marking where you got in, and a second meter only appears when your stop or targets actually differ.
- ImprovedTRD
The stop is on every row of the blotter
The price that says what a position can lose was only visible after expanding a row. It now sits beside the entry, marked when it’s your own stop rather than the plan’s.
- ImprovedAL
Alert settings read across cleanly
The switches under Account → Alerts are tied to their labels by a dotted line, so a wide window no longer leaves you tracing which toggle belongs to which setting.
- ImprovedRES
A clearer way out when price has passed a target
The two choices in the accept window — dropping the targets behind the market, or writing your own levels — are now proper buttons instead of two grey slivers, with the recommended fix leading.
- ImprovedAL
An alert waits until you deal with it
A fired alert no longer disappears from the count just because you glanced at it — it stays until you mark it seen, one at a time or all at once, since you may be away from the desk when it fires.
- Improved
The terminal rides out a brief server interruption
When the server briefly can’t be reached, the screen used to keep asking as fast as it could from every panel at once, which made the interruption worse and could get you temporarily blocked. It now waits a moment and picks back up when the server answers again.
- ImprovedAL
Alerts live in one place
The Alerts module now shows the ones that fired at the top of the same list you create them in, each row saying what you asked for, what it hit, and when. Setting, reviewing, re-arming and clearing are all one screen instead of two.
- ImprovedTRD
A target hit tells you what it did to your position
The email said only that a price was touched. It now says how many shares sold and what that banked, how many are still held, and what the shares still on the table would lose if price came all the way back to your stop.
- Bugs
Arrange moves the window you’re looking at
Jumping to a window with Tab, the taskbar, a link-group dot or Exposé could leave an earlier window quietly selected with nothing on screen to show it, so pushing something into a corner moved the wrong window.
- Bugs
Matching window sizes works after a rubber-band selection
"Match size to the focused window" needed the highlighted window to be one of the selected ones, and a rubber-band selection never made it one, so the button did nothing.
- BugsAL
Muting a whole channel works on an account that never opened these settings
The per-alert switches were read in a way that treated "never saved" as "cannot be muted," so a master switch quietly did nothing until each alert type had been touched at least once.
- BugsCG
Politician Trades leads with the day a trade was disclosed
The feed was ordered by the day the trade happened, which is often weeks earlier, so a disclosure landing this morning could sit far down the list looking old. Both dates now show — filed and traded — and either one sorts.
- BugsCG
One member filing their whole quarter no longer hides everyone else
The feed read a single page per chamber, so a member disclosing ninety trades at once could fill it and push every other recent filing out of sight. It’s now paged, so the module still opens quickly however deep you go.
- BugsRES
Taking a plan late no longer sells it straight back to you
When price had already run past a plan’s target, buying at the market opened the position and closed it on the next minute’s bar, booking a loss at a price the market never offered. The accept window now names the targets that are behind and lets you drop or rewrite them first.
- BugsTRD
A target the market has passed pays what the market pays
A take-profit already behind the price when a position opened was recorded as selling at the target — worse than you could ever have gotten for it. It now settles at the price you got in at.
- Bugs
Two targets a hair apart no longer print through each other
On a plan whose last two levels sat one percent apart, their labels overlapped into unreadable characters. A crowded level now drops to a second line.
- BugsNOTIF
The bell shows how many notifications you have without opening it
The number was worked out from a list that only loaded when you opened the bell, so it read nothing until you clicked — and clicking it looked like it created the count.
- BugsAL
The alerts button opens your alerts
It used to open whichever module the most recent notification belonged to, so it could land you in Trades or News depending on what had arrived last.
- BugsAI
HootAI can follow one answer with another look
It used to get a single chance to look things up per question, so anything needing two steps came back half-finished. Asking what a stock did around each of its last eight earnings dates now returns all eight, instead of stopping at two.
- BugsAI
HootAI reaches back further than six months for prices
A question about older dates was quietly answered from the last six months of trading only, with nothing saying the rest had been left out.
- BugsAI
Evening questions about today’s calendar no longer skip today
After 8pm, "who reports earnings today" was answered for tomorrow, so companies that had just reported after the close were missing.
- BugsAI
"Who reports this week" lists the soonest companies
With thousands of companies reporting in a week, the hundred HootAI showed were an arbitrary sample rather than the ones reporting first.
- BugsAI
Switching conversation while HootAI is answering no longer loses the answer
The reply was discarded the moment you looked away, and the conversation you moved to showed the other one’s progress with the message box locked until a reload. The answer now finishes on its own and is waiting when you go back.
- BugsAL
The alerts count matches the alerts list
The number in the top bar counts the alert rules you’ve set, read from the same place the list is drawn, so it can no longer say seven beside a list of four.
- BugsAL
Clearing an alert updates the count straight away
The number in the top bar kept its old value until the page was reloaded, so clearing four alerts still read four.
- BugsTRD
A target the market had already passed reports the price it really sold at
A rung behind the market when the position opened sells at your entry, but the email named the target’s own price, so one event was announced at two different prices.

Trading gets its own desk
- NewTRD
Trades is now its own window
Your positions no longer live inside Research. Open Trades on its own, size it how you like, and keep it up beside a chart.
- NewTRD
Take a trade straight from its plan
A trade plan is now something you can act on, not just read. The entry, the stop and the targets carry through to a live position in one step.
- NewTRD
Take a trade at the current price
A plan waits for its entry zone by default. You can now take the trade at the price on screen instead, and the position opens straight away at what you paid.
- NewTRD
Sell part of a position
Close some of a position and leave the rest running. Closing the whole thing now asks you to confirm first, so a stray click cannot flatten a trade.
- New
See where your credits went
Your account now shows every credit you have spent and what it was spent on, so the monthly balance is something you can check rather than trust.
- NewCG
See when several members of Congress buy the same stock
Several unrelated members buying one company within weeks is rare, and it is the kind of thing nobody finds by scrolling a feed. It now has its own view, and an alert you can switch on.
- New
The command line offers every window a ticker fits into
Type a ticker and you are shown the windows it opens in, grouped by what you are trying to find out, with the company name and its price beside them.
- NewHELP
See what changed
Every release is now written up in plain English, inside Help and on the website, with a marker when there is something you have not read. A roadmap sits beside it for what has not shipped yet.
- ImprovedTRD
An open trade shows where the price actually is
The live position now marks the current price against your entry, stop and targets, so one glance tells you how much room is left in either direction.
- ImprovedRES
One way into Research
The R key and the AI Report button now open the same Research window. The two separate pop-up dialogs they used to open are gone.
- ImprovedRES
Retry a report without starting over
A report that fails or stalls can be generated again from where it sits, instead of being abandoned and requested from scratch.
- ImprovedCG
More members have a profile, and their trades land on it
Filings name a member the long way, with middle names, initials and nicknames, so many never matched the roster and their trades sat under nobody. They now resolve to the person who filed them.
- ImprovedCG
A disclosure that is not a stock is no longer shown as one
Members disclose Treasury bonds, crypto, foreign listings and blank placeholders alongside ordinary shares. Those are now labelled for what they are, rather than offered as a company you can open.
- ImprovedCG
The leaderboard and member histories moved into the window
A member’s full record with holdings and a year-by-year breakdown, the leaderboard, and the per-company view now all open inside Congress without disturbing your layout.
- ImprovedCH
The chart remembers the view you were on
Each chart window reopens on the bars it was showing, and a new chart starts on whatever you last used instead of always the year to date.
- Improved
Searching by company name finds the company
Typing “space” finds SpaceX and “tesla” finds Tesla, with the real listing ranked above look-alike tickers. A company we have just added shows up in search straight away.
- ImprovedFUT
Futures carry their 52-week range
Each contract now shows where today sits inside the last year of trading, so a move has something to be measured against.
- ImprovedERN
Earnings show the adjusted and the filed number together
The grid speaks the street’s language, but the audited figure is never thrown away — both sit on the same cell. A yearly figure built by adding up four quarters says that is what it is.
- BugsTRD
A trade’s entry is what the position actually paid
Profit, percent and risk were measured from the middle of the entry zone instead of the price the trade got in at, which flattered gains and understated how far away the stop really was. Trades already open have been corrected.
- BugsTRD
The entry email and the blotter agree on one price
An email could announce a fill at one price while the position settled minutes later at another. The entry is now announced once, from the record, carrying the size, the risk and the whole exit ladder.
- BugsRES
Reports sort by when you asked for them
The library now orders reports by the moment you requested each one. Counts on the filter chips add up, and recent reports show their age in minutes rather than rounding to hours.
- Bugs
Pressing Enter opens the ticker you typed
Typing quickly could commit the match for the first letter or two instead of the ticker you finished typing. What is in the box is now resolved before anything opens.
- Bugs
A ticker we do not carry is never opened
The command line now says nothing matches, rather than opening an empty window and pulling every linked panel onto a dead symbol. A window already pointed at one says so, with a button to change it.
- BugsCH
One-minute bars open on today
Switching to one-minute bars used to land a couple of days back, so you had to pan right to find the live candle. It now opens where the market is.
- BugsFUT
Futures read the same everywhere they appear
The pre-market board’s market rail could print a different price for a contract than the futures window and the strip along the bottom. All three now show one reading.
- BugsINS
Insider alerts no longer skip a night
The overnight insider run could end before it started and take that night’s alerts with it. It now completes, and the alerts go out.
