DESCompany Profile

DES One company in one window — description, live quote and key stats, with every view of it as a tab: news, the value chain, ratios, the statements, earnings, dividends, calls, events, ownership, Congress, SEC filings and ESG.

Fig. 1 — Company Profile, running in the terminal.

how to open

  • NVDAA bare ticker opens (or retargets) the Company Profile on NVDA and drives the yellow group, so every yellow window follows.
  • DESOpens the profile on the yellow group's current ticker.
  • NVDA FAA tab code opens the profile straight on that view — here the statements. Every tab below has one.
  • NVDA PINOpens a profile pinned to NVDA without touching any link group.

the 11 views

Views inside this window

VCValue chain

The companies around a company — suppliers, customers, partners, competitors and merger counterparties, each relationship citing the filing, earnings call or screen it came from.

  • Suppliers, customers, partners and competitors, grouped
  • Merger and acquisition counterparties as deals are filed
  • “Disclosed” marks a relationship the company stated itself; “inferred” was read from the counterparty's own disclosures
  • Expand a row for the exact source — an SEC 10-K, an 8-K agreement, an earnings call — with every SEC citation linked on sec.gov
  • Click any counterparty ticker to walk the chain to that company

RATRatios

Trailing-twelve-month ratios in one dense view — valuation multiples, margins, liquidity, and leverage.

  • P/E, P/B, P/S, price-to-cash-flow
  • Gross, operating, and net margins
  • ROE and ROA
  • Current ratio, quick ratio, debt-to-equity

FAFinancials

The three statements — income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow — period by period.

  • Income statement — revenue, gross profit, operating income, net income
  • Balance sheet — assets, debt, equity
  • Cash flow — operating, investing, financing, free cash flow
  • Annual and quarterly periods side by side, with EBITDA and capex where you expect them

ERNEarnings

The earnings record as a grid: fiscal quarters down, years across, every reported quarter coloured by whether it beat its estimate — and the next report date pinned at the top.

  • Green beat the estimate, red missed it, muted has not reported yet
  • Hover any reported quarter for the estimate, what was reported, and the gap
  • Switch between earnings per share and revenue; year-over-year and quarter-over-quarter growth views
  • Pinned header — next report date, consensus for that quarter, how many of the last twelve beat

DVDDividends

What holding this pays — the dividend record with ex-dates, amounts, yield, and how often it pays.

  • Dividend history with the amount paid each time
  • Ex-dividend and payment dates
  • Current yield, payout ratio, and how often the company pays

TRANSCalls

Full earnings-call transcripts — read what management actually said without leaving the desk.

  • Quarter-by-quarter transcript archive per company
  • Full text — prepared remarks and the Q&A

EVTEvents

Every dated corporate action for the company — next earnings, ex-dividend and payment dates, splits, and call dates.

  • Next and last earnings dates with surprise history
  • Ex-dividend, record, and payment dates
  • Split history with ratios, forward and reverse
  • Earnings call dates

INSOwnership

Form 4 insider activity as it is filed — who bought, who sold, at what size — beside the beneficial owners behind the stock.

  • Form 4 buys and sells with filer name and title
  • Share counts and transaction values, with 10b5-1 plan transactions flagged for context
  • The ≥5% beneficial owners, one toggle away

  • Buy/sell direction, disclosed amount range, and filing lag on every row

good to know

Worth knowing

  • Clicking a ticker in any table on the desk opens this window on that symbol — DES is the terminal's default answer to "what is this company?"
  • The statements, ratios, value chain, earnings, dividends, calls, events, insider filings, congressional trades and SEC filings used to be windows of their own. They are tabs here now, under the same codes, so a saved desk holding one of those windows opens the profile on that tab.

Questions

How fresh is insider data?
Rows appear as Form 4 filings are published to EDGAR and ingested. Pair the Ownership tab with the Alerts module to get pinged instead of polling the window yourself.
Where does the congressional data come from?
From the official STOCK Act disclosure filings members of Congress are required to publish. The terminal ingests the filings and normalizes them into a browsable, filterable feed — and the Alerts module (AL) carries congressional alert rules, delivered to desktop and email.
