Congress trades
GET/v1/congress/trades
Stock trades disclosed by members of Congress under the STOCK Act, newest first, by ticker or by member: who traded, their chamber and party, the trade date and disclosure date, buy or sell, and the amount range.
Each call counts against your allowance.
Parameters
| Name | In | Type | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
symbol | query | ticker | Stock ticker, like AAPL. |
politician | query | text | Part of a member of Congress's name. |
days_back | query | whole number, 1–730 | How far back, in days. Leave it out for 90. |
limit | query | whole number, 1–100 | How many trades. Leave it out for 50. |
Any other parameter is refused, so a typo is caught rather than quietly ignored.
